Twice a year, my husband and I look at all of the timekeeping devices around the house (house, woodshop, office, two vehicles), look at each other, and smile at how nice it is to live in a place that doesn't participate in that nonsense.


Me too. Don't know about where you live, but around here it's a big debate. People seem to think daylight saving time adds an extra hour to the day.

Nope, not under debate, not even under consideration. (Hint: we are much closer to the equator . . .)

It's a proven fact that things are just better in Saskatchewan and Arizona. It's true! :D


And Hawaii! (Hence the hint above.)
 
I wonder what kind of interest all of the daylight saved accrues.

One a loan shark would love. We lose an hour on a Sunday morning, then get it back with an extra hours daylight every evening until the end of daylight saving, then we get back the hour that we lost at the beginning of daylight savings. In short the interest is 100% per day!

As for changing the time on clocks, it only takes a few minutes each time.
