"Remember Building 7" - "Largest 9/11 Campaign Ever"

Come on, they are really serious about this!

Two weeks ago they said they could "wrap this up overnight", two weeks ago they presented the progress bar and further stuck to their insane goals.

Two weeks later, no further action, no further interest, and not a single update of the "progress bar". They've simply given up. It's curious that the only ones showing any interest are a couple of people in this forum. If we didn't they'd simply be forgotten.

Remember building 7, at a whopping 7% of the goal. Coincidence!? Inside job apparently.

1) Set a goal that requires an absurd amount of money.
2) Fail to meet that goal.
3) Pocket the money you've already collected and use it for other purposes.

Did they get any money? I think it was just sigs on the internet.

What's this about porpoises?
.
Well, this particular pod is rumoured to live forever, but got trapped in an underwater cave and needed to be dug out. Unfortunately, the nearest group of people with appropriate expertise was in Florida, and were delayed by a pair of pumas stretched out over the access road to the mine and those are protected by Florida as an endangered species so a vehicle had to be brought up from the other side, and they were assisted in carefully stepping over the sleeping animals.

The helpers were arrested shortly thereafter.

Apparently, they didn't know it was illegal to transport miners across state lions for immortal porpoises...

One pun at a time is quite sufficient thank you :)

Wow. An update. Not looking good (to them) as usual.

They are now at $78,827 from 1,437 donations. 8% of their goal. $54.86 per donation.

Since their last update a month ago, that's new money $7,162 from 130 donations. $55.09 per new donation.

There's something strange about the average donation being $55, and the new donations averaging almost exactly the same amount. If those are real donations that's an odd coincidence, and some people are pouring big money to this hopeless campaign.

But hey that is $7,000 a month for doing nothing, and just cashing the checks. And at this rate they will only need 10 years to get to their $1million dollar target.

Richard Gage should be happy...his 5% will net him $5,000 a year.

They haven't sent any new emails to their subscribers.

Still trying to think up a spin on their big plans that have failed?

Finally, a new email to subscribers...

but nothing at all in it about the fundraising campaign.

NYCCAN Building What? Remember Building 7 now urges you to Occupy Building 7.

From the email:

"On Saturday November 19 and Sunday November 20, we will march from Liberty Plaza to Building 7 and occupy the park in front of Building 7 until nightfall. We hope this will mark the beginning of a sustained Occupy Building 7 movement that will grow and finally bring meaningful attention to the obvious demolition of World Trade Center Building 7 and the dire need for a new 9/11 investigation. At 2pm each day we will hold a General Assembly to discuss the direction and continuation of the Occupy Building 7 occupation after November 20."

I predict The Fail will not fail them again.

Another thread has been started about this, but a delete (?) has been requested.

ETA: I think that delete was requested because of another thread about this:

Here's a new plan that's making the rounds on Facebook.

Too funny. Firstly they will never get the money to do it but what they fail to grasp is no one cares what happened to WTC7. It was an empty office building, no one died.
The very statement implies that fire did bring down WTC1 and 2, the ones people actually care about.

And who is that guy and why should we care what he says? Structural engineers (if indeed that is what he is) get mentally ill just like all other professions.
