OK, so I'm likely off for to Reims for the easter weekend. Most of this will have to spend with other friends sampling Champagne but I want to see some battlefields when I'm there.

Is Verdun worth a visit? Chemin des Dames? Any other locations?

Will probably stop off somewhere further north going to and from but suggestions most welcome!

Tanks a lot.

As an American, I found Verdun very powerful: it's still pocked-marked from the Great War, and one gets a feel for how horrible that conflict was, and why Europe was so intent on avoiding another in the 1930s.

Otherwise, the cathedral, and the attached treasury with the coronation robes of Charles X (or, "now I remember why we got rid of these kings").
