Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars

Is Jon Carter in evidence? One of Greg Bear's titles, Moving Mars, is an excellent read as well, but deals much more with politics and very advanced technology than "moving in".
The title is quite literal, by the way.

Last week I was in a used book store, and saw original (hardbound edition), signed copies of the Red/Blue/Green Mars books. $625 for the set.

Signed?

By the author?

Yep but as Mongrel says mine are UK first editions signed so may not be worth as much.

ETA: Just looked at Abebooks and they may actually be worth more!
