Why the Hague, though? Does Serbia not have a court high enough to try him?

As far as I know, he has committed no crimes in Serbia.

I served in the NATO forces in Bosnia - and as I did when Milosevic was sent to Hague and when Karadzic was captured, I popped open a bottle of champagne when I heard the news about Mladic. Finally all of the Big Three of the war in Bosnia are either dead or in custody.

Ever notice how, when these monsters are caught, they always have poor health and need all sorts of care.
Why don't the captors afford them the same care they gave to their victims ?

Because we're better than them. If we behave the same way as them, how could we condemn them for that behaviour?

As the saying goes, an eye for an eye makes the one-eyed man lead a blind king. Or something.

no Serbia has no International Court.

A major league sociopath and ultra-nationalist who is still regarded as a hero in Serbia for his 'ethnic cleansing' duties. At least they have acted at last, even if it did take too long. I hope that all tyrants keep this in the back of their minds. They won't necessarily be immune forever.
