I first discovered it a few years ago after Conservapedia made the news (Obama the first Muslim president?) and I followed a link. It was started by Conservapedia refugees but has become, I think, a first class resource for information about assorted woo and idiocy that's unencumbered by Wikipedia's NPOV policy. If they think something's idiotic, they say it.

I also enjoy their WIGO (What Is Going On) pages, particularly the Conservapedia one. That sadly is no longer on the main page but is still going: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Conservapedia_talk:What_is_going_on_at_CP?

It's hit and miss, awhile ago I came across

If you go to that link it's Neil DeGrasse Tyson talking about racism in society, not a scientific study, not even an article, by a research scientist working in EP, a *********** youtube video. And that's been there for a long time. I doubt few people actually understand what happened with the Lawrence Summers controversy, let alone know what the hell that youtube video meant.

Anyway, if you're the kind of person who relies on the texts of wikis without following the links instead of studying the subject carefully and skeptically over years, probably you're not a person of much consequence to the world anyway, it's not worth a battle the talk page of a site like that to change the minds of people, which is why it so rarely happens.
