Watching this makes my day. After sooooo many other people buy this stuff hook line and sinker someone is actually looking at this objectively on the MSM.

The ad hom about Randi's being an atheist is interesting, mostly due to what christianity's view on witchcraft.

Somebody please please please post a video link to this please please please! : )

I kinda got the impression that Anderson didn't want to be outdone by Randi this time and, therefore, was more on the offensive at the begging of the interview.

Just think if doctors held the same belief as Sylvia's business manager: you cannot judge me because of my beliefs...

Okay...just finished watching the segment.

Anderson Cooper is my newest hero! (Along with Randi and Lancaster, of course)

That was great. Pow!! Cooper saying to Sylvia's business manager, "that's a high school debating tactic"...

Priceless!

That was PRICELESS!

"Sylvia has never taken money for a reading, those are donations to... um... unsolicited... RANDI'S AN ATHIEST!! AN ATHIEST EVERYBODY!!"

Pretty good segment.

Anyone that thinks can see that Sylvia's PR woman couldn't defend the positions she spouted off.

Randi should have been given more time. He never interrupted, but was constantly interrupted himself.

Randi didn't really need to talk so much. Anderson Cooper was doing a pretty good job on his own.

Yeah, Sylvia has never asked for money? So everybody just donates exactly $700 at random? How nice of them.

Sylvia doesn't make a penny on these readings. It all goes to her church and her business.

Poor woman--I wish that church and that business were hers, so she could put bread on the table.

Cooper should've turned the leeches mic off while Randi was speaking. The horse racing analogy is probably not the best one, since I don't think most people will understand it.

HE'S ATHEIST!!! YOU CAN'T TRUST ATHEISTS!! ATHEISTS HAVE NO CLUE!!!

Didn't get the video, but I do have a screenshot.

I was expecting Sylvia's business manager to burst into tears at any moment. Randi could hardly get a word in edgewise, though.

Yep, that witch's tactic was to make Sylvia look angelic and victimized while making Randi a villain because he's atheist. Too bad Anderson Cooper didn't bring up the fact that Sylvia already agreed to the test, although Randi did, it was hard to hear because of the witch's ranting and raving.

Is there any significance to the fact that Browne's business manager is the one to appear on TV now? Given the current heat on Browne, is she reluctant to face the cameras? Or am I reading too much into this, and it is a perfectly normal practice?

OMG! Sylvia doens't ASK FOR MONEY?! People just DONATE $750 for a reading? So, I can call her up and ask for a reading and she'll give it to me and I DON'T have to pay the $750 if I don't want to?
Sweet Zombie Jesus, I'm calling.

It could have been longer, but it was a great piece of negative press for silvia. If only the press could follow Cooper's lead on taking risks.

I think that it would be pretty obvious to the unaffiliated person how wrong silvia is, but there wasn't that magic moment where it would be impossible to maintain the beliefs of the true believer and not experience cognitave dissonance.

Watching her charade go Tango Uniform makes me have a little more faith in the human race.

"Sylvia has nothing to prove to James Randi"

She does have something to prove to the world though--and --just think how much good she could do for mankind with an extra million dollars--
I hope this segment opened a few eyes

Actually, Randi didn't need to say much. The business manager kept insisting on digging her own hole.
