'It doesn't excuse the Rand Paul supporter, but she sure deserved it!'

She's a kook, he's a kook. We have seen the video of what he did, and it certainly does not appear justified. But I am willing to let the cops figure that part out.

Reports indicate she was also running towards Paul yelling, and that's why the crowd restrained her.

No way should the guy have put his foot on her, and even the guy himself realized it (he had an "oh ****, what did I do, time to go" look on his face as his foot slipped off the woman's shoulder onto her head).

But really, is anyone else tired of the "Candidate A's supporter does X means Candidate A did it himself" crap? The idiots spouting off about Obama paying their mortgages and putting gas in their cars shouldn't reflect on Obama any more than this guy should reflect on Paul, and neither should be required to disown said idiots because every politician would spend the bulk of their time doing so if that were the case.

I think are definition of "Kook" differs. I know lots of people who are activists, and are still sane, reasonable people. They simply are passionate about a cause, and decide to become ACTIVE in protesting about it.

The fellon thing means this person likely takes it to far...but still.

A kook, to me, is someone with zaney outrageous ideas or who behaves in a zaney fashion...like Rand Paul...or Jesse Ventura...or Alex Jones.

1. It was totally uncalled for, and assault charges against the guy should be filed.
2. He did not stomp her head, it was her left shoulder. He stomped it once.
3. the picture on the site is misleading, as it does not show that the actual contact with the foot was to her shoulder, not her head.

Rand Paul should have went to the hospital and apologized on behalf of his follower, or at least gone to make sure she was ok...did he?

The second occurred after a Conway supporter stepped on the foot of a female Rand supporter, who recently had foot surgery, according to police.

The woman was wearing a surgical boot, but after the injury, her incision was cut open. Police say she refused medical treatment and also filed an assault report.
