Merged Rally to Restore Sanity

So you get yours from Fox, what is the difference.

Since you have trouble with the painfully obvious, I never claimed that I do while some of those at the Stewart/Colbert Rally said that The Daily Show is their only source for news.

Maybe if the news channels actually just reported the news instead of twisting it to fit their agenda, maybe so many people would not have to turn to comedians for their news. I not talking just Fox but all the news channels do it but Fox is the worst.

What gave it away? The fact that it is on Comedy Central?
FOX News Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld is also intentionally funny. What FOX News reporters are unintentionally funny?

Would you like alphabetical or by order of hilarity,

Ah screw it, just google Fox News Reporters and get the full list.

Nope. POTUS Obama crowned MSNBC with that dubious distinction when he said Maddow and K.O. "provide an invaluable service.”

Your link is as confused as you. Neither Hannity, Doocy, Kilmeade, Guilfoyle, Davis, and knowles are news reporters. Still waiting for examples of FOX News reporters being unintentionally hilarious.

Then blame Google, I simply entered in 'Fox News Reporters' and that picture gallery was the first hit.

As to the rest of your post, I was trying to be a bit funny, by googling a list of everybody on Fox and using that as an example of Fox reporters being unintentionally funny. It was a mean-spirited joke and one not based in anything substantive, seeing as I generally do not watch Fox. I was just going for the Lulz there.

When the "news" caster on the clip I posted forgot Steve Colbert's name. I found that incredibly hilarious. She was faking forgetting his name for whatever reason and her acting was incredibly bad.

Also, I remember one time when one Fox "news" caster was telling people to stay tuned because they were going to do a report on Mel Gibson. He said something to the effect of (and paraphrasing here because this is from memory), "Has Mel Gibson gone all the way down the drain? Tune in after the break when we tell you what to decide....er..uhm..I mean, we tell you, you decide.....uhm...right after this message".

ROFLMAO. :)

The picture is indeed more full of people. But since the photos aren't taken of the same area (because the rallies weren't held at the same location on the mall), or the entire crows at either rally, that tells us pretty much nothing about relative crowd sizes.

Lots of people were at both rallies. I'm not sure why getting into a pissing match about which was bigger actually matters to anyone. But if you want some better photos to use for comparison, here's two:

Stewart rally:

Glenn Beck rally:

Lots of people at both, but you won't be able to compare them without measuring out the areas involved and making some assumptions about crowd densities. But like I said, I'm not really seeing the point of doing so.

Those are the pics Beck used to try to make the arguement that he broke even with the Stewart rally. Ah the fun things we can do with perspective in pictures. I prefer this shot if I wanted to count:

tl;dr, so this may have already been posted (I only checked the last three pages).

Check out these ignorant Obama supporters/Stewart fanbots:

Here are rally attendees in their own words.

At 1.25 into video:

A sign carrier is asked what his sign means. He has no idea and responds, "They made the signs. I'm just a bystander."

At 3.32:

Troothers are encountered.

At 4.27:

People say they get their news from "The Daily Show."

At 9.02

Attendees can't come up with the names of the candidates in their congressional districts.

At 10.03

More Troothers are encountered.

....so out of a 10 minute, 35 second video, you found five people, for maybe a total of five to ten seconds each, who are "Troothers" or are just holding a sign.

What about the several people, taking up most of the video you presented, who got what the rally was about, and spoke about it intelligently?

This is what I mean by "spin".

Here's the thing about the spin of all these "news" channels, especially with Fox.

Here's the whole speech Jon gave about what the idea of the rally was about. Not the four minute speech sound bite of other news stations, (in Fox's case it was less than that), but the whole thirteen minutes.

And look at how Fox "news" spun it so that it didn't mean what he said.

This is what I mean by spin. This is why I hate all three of the "news" stations. The one that bothers me most is Fox, but I think mostly that's because my parents have it on 24/7 and never question what they say, or even worse, don't hear what they say and assume whatever they chose to hear.

The whole idea of the rally was that we are not at the "end of America", that people have to stop pushing the panic button and that not one "side" is totally right for every situation. It's time we started listening to each other instead of pointing fingers, yelling at each other and going to the extreme. And the "news" stations are not helping at all.

Apparently, Cicero, I'm sorry to say, that you don't understand that message either. :(

Here are some more Stewart/Colbert Rally folks getting what the rally was about.

Mary K Hamm: "Seems that everyone pretty much agrees that it is way more fun and cooler to have a rally making fun of other rallies than to have a real rally."

Ski Cap Stoner: "Yes, exactly"

Mary K Hamm: "If I go home and make fun of this rally wouldn't that make me even cooler than the people here?"
No doubt about it, Mary.

Neither Doocy, Kilmeade or Carlson are news reporters. FOX & Friends is a morning show like "The View." Or do you believe that Behar, Whoopi, Hasselbeck, etc are news reporters as well? Now, do you have a clip of FOX News news reporters being unintentionally hilarious?

Don't watch "The View". Didn't even know who are the hosts (hostesses) are.

And I gave you a clip. Did you actually read what I wrote?

Ah. The Fox "news" style of journalism.

Ignore the point that the person you disagree with makes, and have a bunch of videos that are edited down so there is a cherry picking of clips that prove your point, which has nothing to do with the point the other person is making.

Well done. :)

ETA: You do know, that with this as your rebuttal, you've just proven my point....
