Questions about pain

Just looked at a box of Nurofen Plus-
Each tablet contains-
Ibuprofen Ph.Eur 200mg.
and Codeine phosphate Ph.Eur 12.8mg
There are 24 in the box-so 4.8g Ibuprofen and 307.3mg Codeine.
I took two (or probably the GF did) , sometime.

- I'm taking Ibuprofen for the pain (I'm sure women would call it discomfort), even though I'm not feeling the pain, could it still be debilitating ?

If it feels like pain to you then it's pain, no matter what someone else might feel. If someone else would call it discomfort ask them how they know what you feel.
