Oh yes, now I remember. Wu went full blown misogynist and incel a few year ago, and started flirting with underage prostitution. Possibly linked to his schizophrenia.

Amusing. When anyone actively reveals themselves to be an open minded skeptic, you drop them and glom onto the next one in the vain hope that the result will be different this time.

Because he's a scam artist.

He wants to sell books, he needs to be taken seriously because his income requires it. By "fighting the good fight" against ruthless, party-pooper skeptics he can claim martyrdom, which works to his advantage with the soft-headed folks who buy his crap.

Suddenly he's challenged by someone on his side of the fence, someone who has done a lot of embarrassing-to-admit leg work and has extensive firsthand knowledge of how a variety of phenomenon actually work, or in most cases don't work.
