There already are equal rights to a nativity scene and a menorah. My post may have been tongue in cheek in points, but it was totally correct. If there was no nativity scene in that community, then it was probably because the Christians were offended by it. And since there was a menorah, I'm guessing there weren't many Jews in the community, because a significant fraction of Jews, including most Orthodox Jews, would be offended by it.
And if there were no reindeer, there couldn't be a menorah.
