"Quantum Darwinism?"

not a good example I suppose.

The size of a star when it goes nova would be better.

Or of a piece of plutonium before a chain reaction starts to run away.

These aren't good examples either. If the point you're making is that there is some minimum limit below which nothing interesting is observable, that still permits (and indeed requires) one-sided variation in the system.

To continue your analogy, you are suggesting that you need at least -1.000 charge to make an electron; that -0.9999 is excluded, but -1.0001 would be find.

However, we don't see this sort of variation. Therefore, your analogy doesn't apply.

no I'm not talking about things at the level of the charge on an electron, I'm talking about the structure of the electron, what ever that may be.
The nova thing I just meant that there are set values in nature at which things happen.

alright what about a government, once it is elected then what ever party it is, has the power in a first past the post system. It doesn't matter how many people voted for them. They don't have a fraction of the power, looking at it simply.

Looking at it too simply. A government with a larger majority has more power and can take more controversial actions without fear of backlash. This is an observable consequence of the composition of government.

You're making (rule 8) up again.

If you want to explain how the world functions, first accurately describe how it functions, then hypothesize about the mechanism. Reversing the process, as you are doing, merely makes you look uninformed.
