Quakers Query

I asked Mama Mortis's UU pastor what the differences between Quakers and UUs are. We came to the conclusion that there's a lot of places where UUs "tend" toward certain behaviors, where Quakers just do them as a matter of course. For example, Quakers are pacifistic, UUs tend to be so.

Oh, and UUs like to talk. REALLY like to talk. Quakers are way better at that whole silence thing.

The Unitarians openned their first monistary the other day. They take an absolute vow of silence....

They seem to be all-round good eggs, but not immune from a certain amount of hypocrisy vis their pacifist ideals. Quaker businessmen have supplied military clothing to the British Army for example. I have no problem with that myself, but ideologically/ethically it's probably a bit shaky.
