Qanon Conspiracy theories

Similar to Anthony Marsh's shtick that he continually uses in his JFK discussions, "Not my theory, but..."

I've been guilty of similar things myself.

But there are some alternatives to promoting a theory or mocking it.

Perhaps among the honest rational considerate.

But never upwind of a drooling ravenous pack of pseudo skeptic fundamentalist sheep compelled by their twisted mob mentality bloodthirst to always pretend a person weighing a claim is instead making the claim.

Someone is thinking, at least.

My bet is that it's a reference to this:

At least that's what comes to mind for me when the term "D5" is mentioned.

Thats a very good guess....Makes sense. Try again. Its fairly common, and most appropriate in Q's game.

Q's coding does encourage thinking.

It takes a D5 CAT to shovel away the **** that's being created by Q and passive/aggressively promoted by you.

Some theories need to be mocked.

In this thread there have been few theories posted, just links that can get you on an FBI white supremacist watch list. The posting claims and then running away when challenged.

How can you not mock such behavior?

The passive/aggressive bit of advancing some crackpot notion through weasel-word framing, then acting outraged when people try to hold him accountable for his (for want of a better word) argument, is straight out of the Bubba playbook. I haven’t perused this thread thoroughly, so I don’t know if, or how many times, he’s tried the other one where he gets you to agree to some tangential and uncontroversial factoid or opinion, then tries to convert that into your agreement for the main claim he is regurgitating.

He’s got two or three others he cycles through endlessly, like a stream of condescending insults towards “pseudoskeptics”; that happens when he gets frustrated that people see through his routine and keep calling him on it.

I was generalizing. And my instinct when someone is getting dog piled is to throw them a bone at least. Oh there's a pun there.

and still no proof he's not a paid sleeper agent.

Nobody cares what the free-range mentally ill are posting online.

It is now December 11. Where are all of those indictments that were supposed to drain the swamp last week?

I blew through Bubba's links pretty quick but IIRC, I believe one Qsup suggested that the date was pushed back to Dec. 17th.

Yes, we know where the bone is too.

Look, it's one thing if an honest discussion breaks out on this thread at some point, but we don't get one. Instead we get Qanon posts, followed by rants about Hillary Clinton, followed by posts suggesting Qanon is real, followed by posts claiming nobody said Qanon is real, followed by further claims that the poster does not believe the Qanon stuff...yet continues to post it.

Qanon is a 4Chan scam. The beauty of it is that Qanon is abusing right-wing morons in the best way ever...by making fools out of them in public (classic 4Chan). If you know 4Chan it's clear as day. If you don't know 4Chan you need to - BONE - up because they run a lot of social media mischief ops. I admire them because they force me to stay sharp.

Aha! You are promoting an actual conspiracy theory - that Qanon is an elaborate ruse to make the alt-right look even dumber than it already looks. So, that honest discussion might break out after all.

Since you are in the mood to say the above let us correct you errors in the above.

But never upwind of a drooling ravenous pack of Conspiracy Theorist fundamentalist sheep compelled by their twisted mob mentality bloodthirst to always pretend that they are just asking questions or evaluating a claim when it is abundantly obvious they desperately want the claim to be true.

The bottom line is that most Conspiracy Theorist loons abandon reason and against evidence hold on to nonsense, often with the fantasy of the perfect non-falsifiable conspiracy that is supre4ssing the truth. also amusing is their rigid doctrinal, fundamentalist belief in some vast omnipotent conspiracy and their repeated labeling those who disagree has shills.

Conspiracy theorists desperately want to believe that the world is run by the equivalent of evil Witches and Demons just out of sight. And you do get to feel their "bloodthirst" if you disagree with them on their forums. And I have rarely met people whose minds were so closed and dogmatic.

'pseudoskeptic'

Some say they know Q is a hoax. Some disagree. I think that this cannot be known, yet.

I'm still on the fence hence I apply the term 'pseudoskeptic' to those saying they know Q is a hoax. The more confidently they sling it around the room, the less they seem a skeptic, to me.

Knowing what is knowable is of course the question.

Where those showing a predisposed (political) notion, such as (in this thread) disparaging the right and alt-right indicate defense of a preconceived ideological position, they get extra pseudoskeptic red flags IMO.

Exactly this. Well said.
