The only department with "Q" level access is the Department of Energy. As the original QAnon claims were falsehoods concerning the Department of Justice, it was obviously complete BS from the beginning.

In addition, as the main focus of QAnon was child pornography and as QAnon was initially hosted on the 4Chan forum, that also hosted child pornography, it was pretty obviously aimed at people already fixated on child pornography.

Jim Watkins co owned 4Chan and was/is "Q".
