Virginia based psychic detective Noreen Renier has filed a motion with her U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Western as a debtor in which she has attached a series of “cut and paste” comments from the JREF forum to support her case.
Edited out are several responses including my recent comment which references the many “distinguished and credible JREF forum participants.”
I guess she didn’t want to include that comment or my last complete posted analysis. Not surprisingly she also claims before her current bankruptcy court that an earlier Bankruptcy Court in Knoxville in 1990 found “no perjury, fraud, misrepresentation, or other misconduct by Renier”.
Actually that conclusion is itself sort of a “cut and paste” and rather foggy psychic vision too. As Gary Posner noted in his chapter on Renier in Psychic Sleuths, “"the Federal bankruptcy judge's ruling, [in 1990] without elaboration, states that "Upon consideration of the defendant's Motion and accompanying exhibits . . . the court concludes that its Judgment [i.e. the bankruptcy judgment] was not based in any part on perjury, fraud, misrepresentation or any other misconduct" by Renier (emphasis added).” But what Renier fails to mention is that the integrity of the original libel trial was thus not commented upon.
And as my attorney told the Knoxville Court in 1992 regarding that earlier libel trial "Noreen Renier lied under oath when she stated she was not aware of any investigation of herself by John Merrell . . . In actuality, Noreen Renier deceived John Merrell by sending him letters under the disguise of Nancy Uzdavinis. . . .In other words, Ms. Renier, through her deceitful letters, under the name of Nancy Uzdavinis, began the whole process, which culminated in Ms. Renier perjuring herself in an attempt to conceal the fact that she knew of John Merrell's investigation. . . .Mr. Merrell was unaware that Noreen Renier had led him to investigating herself. One truism rings clear in this whole situation; these parties would not be together had it not been for Ms. Renier's deceitful beginnings."
Renier’s present bankruptcy has a hearing next week (February 25, 2010) which should include some interesting motion reviews and the sale of the copyright of her biography titled A Mind For Murder. I will keep everyone informed.
