PS Audio Noise Harvester

No, time and time again you post BS, I have written to show how things do work. You had posted about NASA using carbon fiber and I have shown you that it was because of weight and only for that reason that they used carbon fiber and not metal. Your testing is not double-blind. I told you I couldn't download the 40 plus minute of a so-called test of yours and you did nothing to change that. You're the one who says that books are on good, but you don't point out which ones, you just blanket them all. You discount my knowledge because it points out that you don't know what you are talking about. You wouldn’t studying because you say the book are flawed, how would you know without reading them and doing some real testing, you only use yourself and your woo-woo science. You don’t have a good foundation of knowledge about electronics and you show that time and time again on this thread. You also have no idea what the word skeptic means, I have posted a definition for you. It seems that people that are closed minded like you don’t just live on this side of the ocean.

Imagine someone intelligent who doesn't read any books because they are stupid, why would he start writing books when he gets older? All books are written by stupid people for people who don't understand what they are reading, they are just memorizing what says in the book and then they go out and repeat sentences because they think it will impress someone on the street.
If you are a biased fanboy you fail to see the truth.

Teaching someone the highest level knowledge is impossible because the student doesn't have the same experience and the way of thought as the teacher, the only way is to figure out everything by yourself and create the knowledge the way you understand it with your own way of thinking.

There is an old saying that goes like this

"An intelligent person can learn from a dumb person, but a dumb person can't learn from the intelligent one".

There is another good old saying,

“The difference between an ignorant person and stupid person is, everyone is ignorant of something, we all are not brain surgeons, but an ignorant person can learn, a stupid person will be stupid no matter how much you try to teach them.

I have learned from you that you are self delusional and are not worth anymore time, you are also st---d, so this will be the last time I will write you. Crawl back into your delusion hole. Bye bye foolish one, and please buy more toilet paper, have bought stock in it.

Congratulations! You are the most anti-intellectual person in the universe!

Guess who is who. I have learned things from you, you haven't learned anything from me.

I am stupid but at least I do something about it while the skeptics live in their delusions and stall the progression of themselves and others.

I did some blind testing again and heard huge differences. Skeptics like to run away from the truth because when they realize they were wrong they will become jealous when they don't have their systems wrapped in ERS Paper.

Only if it involves verifiable testing.

I've already put ES on my ignore list. If I see discussion of testing I'll look at the posts. Otherwise I won't waist any more time with him.

Now here is a site that so far I haven't found any woo-woo on. They really test wires etc and seem to be up front. There are a few good articles on wire. The first link is very good and check out the other two to the same site, at the bottom of the page there are more articles.

Also there is no woo-woo paper to be found, I may write them about this and see if they will do real tests on it.

It is so nice to find a audio site that is a real audio site.

They have book learning and know how to really test.

I have emailed them about the woo-woo paper.

Hey, I just got an email from someone glad to see that there are others who know exactly what Paul McGowan is up to.

How very satisfying.

Paul McGowan a Stereophile person, Randi has nothing good to say about that magazine, nothing but another woo-woo rag.

It is just something, that it is only audio equipment in the electronic world that defies all logic and science, and why not, someone can always claim that he can hear something you don’t, and if he doesn’t do a true double blind test you can’t prove he wrong.

It has become like religion in many ways, a lot of magical thinking and lying. And the funny part is, like religion they will use science, but they cherry-pick it, and take only they want and blow the facts all out of proportion and misrepresent science.

Wow. What a thread. I have to convey my admiration to those who struggled so bravely against ExtremeSceptic’s absolute rejection of rationality. At first I thought he was a fellow sceptic fooling around, but the pictures and video show he really does own all this ridiculous equipment. So, it’s pretty clear that he is either simply deranged (as in literally mentally ill) or has allowed himself to wade so deeply into the intellectually stagnant swamp of wooism as to be positively unsalvageable. Perhaps there exists no working distinction between the two states, but consider in summary, if you will, the evidence:

  • He claims that through the purchase of astronomically expensive speaker cable and other impotent gimmicks he will eventually experience a celestial transcendence to an immortal realm and, in the process, will amass a substantial following of devoted and worshipping disciples.
  • He claims that he learned all that classical and quantum physics has to offer in an afternoon, realised that they were both merely epistemological phantasmagoria and then, as a result, went on to devise two hitherto unknown but altogether more tangible branches of the subject called “advanced physics” and “true physics.” (In spite of this practical scientific omniscience, however, he’s unable to describe the working of relatively simple electronic devices.)
  • He’s wrapped all of his electrical equipment in tin foil. (Presumably to keep out Y-rays, audio-thetans and cooties.)
  • He liberally passes on pearls of condescending, pseudo-intellectual and quasi-relativist “Grasshopper” wisdom of the “I know everything – yet I know nothing” variety as if expecting nothing but awed silence and avid genuflection in return.
  • One of his YouTube videos shows him drinking a glass of (hopefully his own) secretion.
  • Another video* shows him rolling around on the floor of his darkened hovel in a highly disturbing state of semi-sexual euphoria (think Hannibal Lecter prancing about in front of the mirror) as he teases open his latest consignment of entirely superfluous yet mind-bogglingly overpriced “magnetic isolation feet.” (Incidentally, given that said clip also shows him absolutely fawning over these metallic magic beans while all the time chanting their trade name, his usage of that ghastly neologism “fanboy” to deride other people seems dubious at best.
  • He wears a little jar of multi-coloured pebbles on his head.
  • He intones so grandiloquently and at such length on relatively prosaic matters (such as making minor adjustments to his audio equipment) that one could be excused for thinking he was actually making the final and most stirring of the speeches before the most epic battle Middle-Earth has ever seen.
Apologies if this all seems slightly off-topic or too much of an ad hominem, but I think the desperate and self-humiliating measures one needs to employ once one jettisons reason entirely are worth highlighting.

* - I am currently unable to post links, but the video can be found under the YouTube user Patrick821 and is called “Maggix arrived.”

I love this thread...bought stock in several phamaceutical companies...gotta be some profit in the future.

I will continue my quest for the real physics.

We can do that here, not all of us like woo-woo....... ;)

So, you who have been repeating that books are full of misinformation and lies and make people dumber, what exactly is it with this text that makes you think it contains anything enlightening?

Hans
Because if it's true it destroys all the credibility of the skeptics in this forum, and they don't like that.

BTW. His impressions were the same as mine.
