Protester tries to arrest the Rove...in SF

I love how the woman is desperately trying to handcuff him while Rove just sits there with a blank expression on his face.

Wow.

Was that supposed to be funny or something?

Fact: a non-Peace Officer can only make an arrest (which means grabbing someone and holding them till the real Police arrive, or taking them to the Police station), if they witness them with their own eyes commiting a crime.

Bush, Rove, Cheney, Rumsfelt, etc., can not be arrested by a citizens arrest.

But this will thrill all the 16 year olds who think being some kind of left wing revolutionary is "Kewl". If Obama wins, a lot of them a year or so from now will switch to the right because they have to be "Anti Establishment"...

Thank you, I was wondering about that.

Anyway, wouldn't it be more fun if we all arrest each other for having different political views?

Wouldn't it? Really??

Rove is scheduled to speak on campus here next week; picking up a cool 35,000 dollar "honarium". This is about what Gonzales got last semester. Evidently, the College Republicans managed to solicit the necessary funds....
Who'd have thought there were any here? Hehe- I havn't seen a pro-McCain bumper sticker yet.
I suppose Carl needs to build up his war chest in case he's indicted after the election.

Nah. The anti establishment left has a long history of opposeing the establishment left (and other bits of the anti establishment left) without moveing to the right. Indeed one of the major activements of the bush presidency is to produce a relatively (by left wing standards) united left.

The reflex anti establisment mob would tend to be the paul supporters in any case.

Don't know, but My first reaction was to laugh because of how ridiculous her plan was. At least she wasn't wearing an "Investigate 9/11" T-shirt.

The moonbat, Janine Boneparth, was with Code Red so she might as well have worn a "Investigate 9/11" T- Shirt. Since this was a mortgage bankers meeting, did Janine beleive Rove foreclosed on her home? She might have more luck slapping the cuffs on Barney Frank. He moves a lot slower.
