Prime Ministerial Debates- Thread

Blimey, Cameron sounded absolutely out of his depth there.

Clegg seems to be struggling with this question a bit. It's almost like he wants to disagree a lot more strongly than he is, but is trying to hold back.

why are we having a 10 minute talk about religion in the foreign policy debate?

Did Cameron just say the Pope shouldn't be condemned regarding Homosexuals, abortions etc? The other 2 sort of dodge that bit.

Brown edging this up to now. Up the voice goes...........

He doesn't seem to be having a good night tonight.

What!!!! That finishes the international questions????

What are you personally doing about the environment and what do you think of the Pope?
(Even the questions about Afghanistan and Europe were a bit weird and indirect)

"how to restore faith in politics?"

This is a bloody FOREIGN POLICY debate! Sky are a shambles.

The first bit was, this is "general". Ergo, sky ARE a shambles, butnot for the reason you think. :p

Cameron is getting schooled again. My god, this man is pathetic, I almost pity him.

I quite like Cameron's open primaries suggestion.

That was weird. The host commented about Nick Clegg being in the papers today before letting him answer. That seemed a bit unfair.

and what's with the moderator bringing up

"and you're on the front page today" to Clegg? Surely a breach of his impartiality? You're there to keep the debate flowing not slip in a few murdoch digs for your paymaster....

yeah, it looks like ridiculous questions about what you're personally doing for climate change and how do you feel about the Pope have covered everything we need to understand of global matters :)

Telegraph isn't Murdoch.

David Cameron is going a bit random

"We've got to help puppies, and old ladies and encourage nicenesss and there's candy floss..."

These debates really haven't done the Tories a lot of good.

Hey angry Gordon's back.
