Prime Ministerial Debates- Thread

That 'Foreign Affairs' debate was very poor.

Who the hell chose those questions?

Overall I think

Brown and Clegg about equal.

Cameron biiig loser tonight.

If Cameron actually had a few policies behind him he'd probably be ok. I get the impression they thought were an utter shoe in and just forgot about specifics.

I agree on all points.

Clegg wasn't on as strong a form as last week, but I think Brown's been fairly consistent.

I'm not sure who the polls will put on top, though. I certainly don't think Clegg will get another boost.

clegg lucks out with landing the closing remarks - and nails a great finishing speech.

That was appalling, how on earth were those questions chosen?

What's the point of the after debate interviews with members of the different parties?

Each one just says how great their leader did.

I do.

I think he's getting big.

Clegg survived

Brown held his ground and landed a few attacks

Cameron didn't seem quite sure which way to face.

Which is unfortunate for whoever the Tory is.

Oh good it was Liam Fox, slimy little bastard.

Again I only listened to it so my views may be different to people who watched it. Cameron was a poor last place, Brown lead for the first few questions, then Clegg and then - why to be quite honest in the last what 10 minutes? it was just an amorphous mess - really difficult to even tell Clegg and Cameron apart, on the whole I'd give it to Clegg but really it was a shambles!

even his closing statement is poor: is ken clarke fresh new leadership? Are his personal values relevant in any way at all?

Probably not but then he's probably the only member of the Tory's front bench (other than Cameron) that anyone not in the Tory party might recognise!

YouGov say Cameron won, apparently.

It makes me wonder if they were watching the same debate I was.
