From reading the JFK conspiracy threads I think the answer is, yes. Either that or Jackie shot him. But we can't rule out the limo driver.

It had to be said sooner or later. But of course, there are some people who say he escaped and controlled some kind of Nazi underground in Brazil.

In Japan, there have been a number of leaders who have committed seppuku which seemed to be the honourable way out. One famous one is Yoshitsune, although some people say he escaped and went to Mongolia to become Chingis Khan.

Also, there was that Mithridates VI who tried to commit suicide using poison but had already made himself immune to the poison to prevent himself being assassinated:

Probably. I expect all the theories which contradict the true theory will be put out there by DISINFO agents in the pay of Bilderberg!

Suicide has indicators, such as depression, joblessness, a string of personal failures, isolation from friends and loved ones... none of which is shared by presidents of any nation.

So, no. It couldn't happen, or is extremely unlikely to happen to the point that discussion is, well, pointless.

What about ex-presidents? Keep an eye on GW Bush - he may need help.

You're not wrong! I'm often amazed at the views expressed in UHC threads and in the politics, religion, and conspiracy fora on JREF and elsewhere.

I'm not sure that he would; he's probably quite used to being ignored by Cameron.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Red Dwarf? In one episode they go back in time and accidentally prevent the JFK assassination with terrible consequences. After bungling a couple of attempts to assassinate him themselves in order to set things right, they end up talking the future JFK into shooting his past self from behind a grassy knoll.

My OP referenced a thread on Hitler, and of course, he and his choice of 'retirement' was where the thought that the OP was born of. Historically, he was the only one I knew/thought of, I didn't know there were others. That's what I love about this place, most every thread, even the silly ones, have kernels of new knowledge seeded about.
