Presidential Debates

Uh, it was from Rosie o'donnell.

It is weird that you are not paying attention to the thread.
Rosie O'Donnell is many Hillary Clinton fans? How does that work?

Getting back to Presidential candidates, your man is an anti-vaxxer. How do you feel about that? Or is that too personal a question? If not I have another : who's your President? And another : if Hilllary Clinton is elected and survives to take office, who will be your President then?

This outsourcing by Donald is getting out of control. First it was polish illegals, then outsourcing his clothes manufacturing, then abusing H1B Visas and now this. Is there any job that Donald actually wants Americans to do?
I've heard Trump speak and he doesn't think much of the US at all. He's forever running it down, and its people. Alright, maybe not the 2nd Amendment folks, I don't know. But definitely most of its people.

Yeah, I figured that out.

What is weird is your chain of logic that starts out "Rosie is a truther" and ends with "Hillary fans are truthers" That's just weird. And what's even weirder is following that quote with "Hillary 2016" as if somehow Hillary is a truther.

As an aside, I liked Rosie O'Donnell back when she was a comedienne. I'm not sure exactly what she is now, but whatever she is, she's boring.

On the "mic problem"...

It wasn't a mic problem, obviously, it was an audio mix issue... and possibly not even a "problem".

Was it just the house mix, or just the stage monitors, or both?
I haven't heard any more on the news and haven't looked for any stories online so I don't know the details.

Is it possible, with Donald's habit of leaning into microphones, that the sound engineer had to lower his feed for the stage monitors?

We have at least one member here with experience running the board for club shows at the least (now who was that ???)... might make for some good insight.

If losing a debate gives you a three point bump, Hillary will probably be trying to lose all of them!

After the statement by the Debate Commission came out a few reporters who had been there tweeted that, in the hall, Trump sounded kind of quiet at the start, but it got adjusted relatively quickly.

Okay, that's some pertinent info.

That still leaves the stage monitors, which would be the only part Trump should have been aware of at the time, if he really was.

He's the master of post hoc, did he even mention it at the time?

:D

(you forgot the foreign models who entered the USA on a tourist visa)

He mentioned it shortly after on Fox, I think, mostly in the context of his sniffles. He whined about a few things, and clearly didn't think he'd done well. Only later did he start to have always thought he did.

In the debate hall, but there is no admission that it prevented him speaking or interfered with hearing and responding to Clinton and the moderator. So no matter what the problem was it doesn't seem to be able to excuse his performance.

Except in his own mind and in the minds of the CT against Trumpers.

...

He really can't admit a mistake or let something go.
Like I've been saying but some people can't bring themselves to say, it's part of his pathology, he literally cannot admit a mistake. And I'm not using literally as hyperbole.

At 2 out of 3, he seems to like outsourcing his wives too

Donald has been placed in the Fox News protection program (no press conferences since July 27 and only three non-Fox media appearances) so debates are only venue for questions about like a dozen burning stories surrounding campaign. This is a great recipe for disaster at a town hall style debate especially with the first October surprise hitting him today. We might see him implode on stage.

SNL is on with their debate skit.

After Trump rambles like an idiot...

"Secretary Clinton, what do you think of that?"

"I think I'm gonna be president."

"Secretary Clinton, you have two minutes to respond."

"Oh, that's okay. He can have my two minutes."
