I have no idea WHY the nicknames. Baloney is known as a cheap alternative to ham, but in truth, good quality baloney from Italy is quite expensive.

Dilma is going to appeal to the Supreme Court (9 of its 11 members were appointed by Lula and her).

It's seems that the plan, like in Argentina, it destabilizing the government, because the logic is: there's a real democracy (when PT and the like are the government) and a formal democracy (when others different than the real representatives of the people -PT and the like- govern).

That's why Maduro does what he does: to avoid "real democracy" being replaced by "formal democracy" just because a meaningless 80% of the citizens want it so.

Seven days of lefties manifesting against Temer in São Paulo. The motto is "First of all, Temer must fall". The last manifestation was dispersed with teargas after the protesters started to vandalize and sack shops and vehicles.

In Argentina a similar manifestation, more pacific though, with the slogan "Macri will fall alone".

The supposed "progressivism" and self-called left showing how democratic they are.

Worst was the money laundering in Argentina.

For instance, the president through his minister of public works contracted a friend of his (and later, hers) to pave routes, paying up to 60% more and paying quickly -both things no competitor could get-. Their friend in return, paid millions for ten of thousands of nights in hotels which belong to the presidential couple. The rooms were supposed to be used by executives and other employees of the friendly contractor, but the investigation showed, for instance, that people using 150 hotel rooms had eaten just 12 croissants. A couple of croissants are part of the typical Argentine breakfast taken in bars, diners, hotels and some homes.
