One of the great things about TAM5 (as well as other TAMs) is learning all kinds of new stuff. Jeff Wagg-who's one smart (and nice) guy- helped us learn all about pareidolia- wherein something rather vague and ordinary is taken by some viewers to be something else entirely. In the photo below, Jeff shows an example of pareidolia: An ordinary chocolate popsicle inadvertently by chance "deformed" when made, becomes- to some fanatics- an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary...or something.
To the skeptic, this is just an oddly shaped lump of chocolate. To the fanatic, the religious zealot, or the dedicated moralist this becomes the Virgin Mary...or something. A fascinating "learning experience". (Posted with Jeff's permission.)
