I looked at the photos before reading which ones curt thought were "cute." But I immediately identified two favorites, one of Teller and one of Randi!

The Randi photo is #719. Mr. Randi has his glasses off, and his expression is subtle. He seems to be very deliberate, very thoughtful. Nice portrait.

The Teller photo is #765. Truth be told, there is something surreal about seeing Teller in front of a microphone, but this particular photo is special. It conveys a relaxed, genuinely amused Teller, who is no longer "on" but can be himself. Although he doesn't talk about it much (I know, Teller doesn't talk much about ANYTHING), Teller used to be a teacher. In this photo, he looks like a teacher, and I mean that in a good way.

Those are my favorites. But there are some excellent photos of Jamy Ian Swiss, Eugenie Scott, Penn Jillette (has he lost a little weight?) and Richard Wiseman, amnong others. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oooh, some good ones here, too. The shots of Banachek in performance are excellent. More! More!!

Edited to add: Is it just me, or does anyone else suspect that Banachek (Steve Shaw) has a portrait of himself at home that just gets older and older, while he himself always looks the same?

Thanks Phys--your pictures are beautiful--I apologize for not showing the same photography skills as you when I took your pic--fortunately my subjects made up for my lack of prowess! It makes me happy just looking at them. What fun!

A: At least 4. Pictured, from L to R, Marquis De Carabas, LostAngeles, SkepHick, and Zygar poking his head out at the end there. We were short one car going back to the hotel, so we made due. I, on the other hand, was driving and therefore perfectly comfortable:

Here are CFLarsen, Jeff Wagg, and LostAngeles. Before this picture was taken, I told the three of them to pretend like they liked each other. Jeff found this notion utterly laughable.

Here are Mrs.JLam, skepHick, Marquis De Carabas, and Cleon. They are all freezing their nips off on the smoking balcony during the forum party. For the record, Mrs. JLam doesn't smoke, but thought it prudent to light one up after the Marquis threatened to throw her off the balcony if she didn't. What a heartless bastard he is:

Here are the Marquis, Larsen, and me. I am smiling because Mrs. JLam gave me permission to have a few cigarettes this weekend. Claus is smiling because someone has just provided evidence. The Marquis is smiling because there is a lubed up goat just out of frame:

I took the bible* but I forgot all about getting something to leave behind until departure time. All I had with me was "How To Talk Dirty" by Lenny Bruce.

* I took the bible because I don't have one and I don't feel like paying for one, either. Aren't they there so you can take it if you feel inspired? Well, I was "inspired" to get a free bible.
