There really aren't any important details to know except:
  • We are meeting at 9 AM Monday Morning, at the hotel's registration area, near the coffee place. (We don't need to meet near the horse, since it won't be after any conference events)
  • It will be HOT! Be prepared for the heat!
  • The Central Scrutinizer has no authority in this thread.

Did Mr. Ottle conduct his earlier reconnaissance mission? I am curious to know what they discovered.

As a reminder: 9 AM SHARP Monday Morning, at the hotel's registration area, near the coffee place. Be there, or be... Left Behind!!

I think almost all of you have been PM'ed my cell phone number. Don't hesitate to call, if you have a problem getting to the rendezvous spot.
 
I've been quiet in this thread for a while, so I thought I should confirm I'm still plannig to go, as I haven't had a PM. I'll chip in towards car rental etc.
 
I have learned that Mr. Ottle's "reconnaissance mission" will take place after Steve Novella finishes, today. That is 1:15 PM (Las Vegas time) on the schedule, but it could run late. I might join them, in fact.

I sent the original PM on July 12th, 2011 at 08:08 PM. I resent the message to you a minute or so ago.
 
So far it is still my best intention to go, but since I've spent way too much of this weekend sick, there's a small chance that I won't.

If I don't go, I don't imagine El Spectre or my son will be going either.

Do we think there is enough space for everyone, particularly if hcmom isn't able to make it? How many vehicles do we have?

As hcmom says: If she doesn't go, she will likely take 2 others out of hte group with her. This is unfortunate, and I hope inaccurate. But, she probably knows why more than we do.

Fatewilleatyou also will have wheels, though he doesn't like to drive.

We'll see what we can do.
 
If I DO go, which right now looks possible, since I'm not currently wanting to die, I'll have room for two more people.

*hcmom starts a wild rumor that Mr. Ottle took kitten out into the desert AND HE LOST HER!!!



The problem with this rumor is that I saw kitty way after they would have gotten back, and I imagine she would have been at least a little upset if her daughter had been misplaced by Mr. Ottle.

Sorry I missed the tour! Needed to spend the morning with my mom and help get her + her stuff to the airport.

I hope the tour went well!
