Post-TAM Tour?

That should cover us, I think. Might be a tad bit of a squeeze, but we can do it.

With what?

If its people going to Red Rocks, that's fine.

If it's things and stuff, can we store them somewhere?

Good point. hcmom, please inventory the contents of your car so that wowbagger can properly manage it for you. Dimensions, weight and average density would be helpful. Imperial units are acceptable, metric preferred.

The inventory should be written up in MS Word 2007 SP1, with 12 point Helvetica, 2" margins.

That would be a good start, but you will also need some aerodynamic measurements. You will be reaching speeds in excess of 50mph, so the Bernoulli effect will create some lift. Remember, it'll be a warm day. (In fact, you'll need to note the color of your car. Albedo values don't compute themselves, mister.)

I'd recommend putting the whole thing in MS Project and save as an XML file. Then you can post it here.

Maybe they could stop by UNLV and run some simulations on their high speed UNIX boxes.

Sigh... I suppose I'd better clean out my car, or this is going to take weeks...

I was supposed to go to a conference in Reno and when I found out it was the week after TAM, I jumped at the chance to go to my first TAM...

Anyhow, my other conference got cancelled so I'd like to come along for the post-TAM tour on Monday. Can someone PM me the details?

I'll have a rental car I was supposed to take to Reno so I can drive...

Thanks...

I don't see how using Project is relevant, here. If there is no existing software for analyzing these things, a custom app is fine. But, something a little more flexible and generic, like Excel might be better, it you insist on basing the app off of commercial software.

(Sent from my Droid Incredible, using Tapatalk. Therefore, more typos may exist in this post than usual.)

I'll demonstrate at Red Rocks on Saturday.

Great! We could use another rental car.

Trip leaves at 9am Vegas Time on Monday. We're meeting near the horse statue, I think. You can PM me if you want more details.
