Pneumonic plague in Russia

No, most likely not plague. Someone who worked with Y. pestis died. Nothing to suggest this was plague (which they were likely vaccinated against if they were working with it). Plague naturally circulates in the rodents in Siberia, plague is endemic in the US and roughly five people catch plague in the US every year. This is a non-issue, primarily anti-russian click bait.
To be entirely fair, the biggest producer of anti-Russian clickbait, by orders of magnitude, is Russia. They don't even mean it to be click-bait, it's just that everybody has a legitimate reason to be anti-Russia these days, and Russia just can't stop confirming that viewpoint.

As I guess the largest producers of anti-American posts comes from MAGA posters (unintentionally).
