Plane Crash In DC

I watched the video of Trump responding to the collision today.

What an absolute disgrace of a human being.

Anyone who voted for that sadsack pile of excrement should have felt ashamed of themselves as he wallowed in his own sick obsessions.
Those that voted for him mostly have sick obsessions of their own. They don't comprehend shame any more than Trump does. It is fascinating how the true character of America has become apparent to the world over the past eight years. It is not a pretty sight.

Very funny, but idiots like Candace Owens, and all maga weirdos, would faint seeing that cockpit.

The rot set in when they renamed the Cockpit to the Woke Flight deck

To the Magats she's already responsible, after all she was obviously a DEI hire and a Biden staff member at the White House.
Yep. Truth in the U.S is now limited to whatever the Diapered Dictator and his maga weirdos deign it to be.

In other words, when you said that Trump blaming the crash on DEI makes my position that DEI is "bad" look "breathtakingly stupid," you literally didn't know what you were talking about.
:xrolleyes
In order to answer your question, I need to know your answer to mine.

Do you think that Trump's statement that DEI at least in part caused the crash is utterly stupid?

If yes, then that's why he makes your position look stupid. If no, then your position is just as stupid as his is.

Thanks for reconfirming.

Are you going to answer my question? Because if you don't, I will assume that you agree with Trump that DEI caused the crash, since that is consistent with your previously stated position on DEI.

I'm starting to really lose patience with your constant stream of ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊.

Are you going to make an argument or just rely on personal attacks?
Based on the early evidence, the plane crash appears to have been primarily caused by the helicopter having the wrong traffic in sight. Contributing factors are likely to include the helicopter exceeding the recommended maximum altitude for the route segment, the tower controller failing to clearly explain the location of the traffic on his second call, the heavy volume of traffic at the airport, understaffing of the tower, the policy of allowing helicopter traffic to cross the final approach path of runway 33, and permitting exceptions to standard separation criteria when pilots request visual separation.

Sean Duffy, former TV reality show star, now Minister of Transportation, IIRC now confirms initial investigation seems to show the helicopter was at the mandated 200m height.

ATC error?

200 feet. And yesterday Jay mentioned the NTSB saying the airliner was at 325 feet. That's obviously a very slim margin when both are such large objects. When you get to small measurements like that I wonder not only about margins of error but what part of the airliner was "at 325 feet" and descending.

So, first of all, according to the FAA helicopter route chart for the area, there was no mandatory altitude, only a recommended maximum altitude of 200 feet. Secondly, according to publicly available radar data reported by VasAviation and other sources, the helicopter had left 200 feet and was climbing at the time of impact. The last report based on the helicopter's transponder, which indicates altitude to the nearest 100 feet (and therefore implies a range of ±50 feet) showed the altitude as 300 feet, and the airliner's altitude at the time of collision was reported to have been 325 feet.
