In a german forum i stumbled over a video that is
about a simulator-test crashing a plane into the
pentagon.

I posted this video to "pilots for >truth<" and asked
if this video is new and if someone is able to translate
the dutch comments.

After some minutes the thread was moved or deleted
and i was suspended.

Could someone in here sum up what this video is about
that makes it so dangerous to the "pilots for disinfo"?

The fact that it pretty much blows their whole argument out of the water?

JDX and his ilk just need to believe that "pilots" are such special people, that no one not annointed by their brotherhood could have pulled off such a feat. Tweaking their noses with actual evidence that this is not so just annoys them.

Your punishment:

Write one hundred times: "I will not expose the ignorance of the Pilots"*

No, but someone else posted a link with subtitles...I just can't find it right now. But it's pretty obvious what's going on just from the visuals.
 
These are the same guys so trusted as "trained observers" by the UFOphiles. Sure, they're trained to recognised friendly and enemy aircraft, but does that enable them to identify every strange light they see at night?

I think not.

jdx banned me after 2 days. I was extremely civil but I think the fact I have an Air Traffic Control backround was a little too much for his fragile ego.

The fact you got suspended simply for posting this vid is a perfect example.

It looks like they are showing how easy it is to fly the jet into the pentagon.

I am still upset about not being able to post comments on his videos at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzR-q0ijbV0. I am banned, and his stupid comments go unchallenged, he is the expert.

I never realized that but it seems to be true.

If you are the one who posts a video on youtube, you can delete any and all comments you don't like...which jdx does fanatically.

There is data missing, a few seconds, not sure why but at that altitude there are a few seconds to go to hit. But depending on how the data is stored and what happens when the plane crashes, the data did not get recorded.

The flight path is not exact. Not sure how the NTSB lines up the flight path with the ground seen in the video. The FDR is used to get an idea of what happen. There is a tread talking about it. http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66047

My comment on that blog:
This video talks about the old CT idea that the G-forces would have ripped apart the plane, but honestly, I haven't seen them use that idea much ever since the flight analysis of 77 came out, which showed exactly the maneuver that Hanjour did. Before that, there were all kinds of crazy ideas. JohnDoeX at the LC forum drew his idea of the "official version" on a map, and it was that 77 made an almost full-circle turn at 500 mph, a turn with a ground-track diameter of only about 1/4 mile. I don't know where he pulled that idea out of, but I'm not surprised that he was not able to believe it really happened that way.

Anyway, since the official flight analysis has come out, there's been very little from the CT crowd about how Hanjour couldn't have been skilled enough to do that very sloppy maneuver.

So I also don't know why they would object to your posting it. JDX's claims of fraud no longer center on Hanjour's skills, they center on the altitude indicated by the FDR.

Maybe they faked the actual flightpath-data to keep the conspiracy-
thories alive to fade away from the hotter issues... :D

Another potentially large source of error is the fact that the pressure transducer is not optimized (calibrated) to accurately record at low altitudes and very high speeds.
