I think Bush personally being responsible for the destruction of the World Trade Center is a silly idea born of irrational fear.
 
I also think the idea of an illegal alien sneaking his way into politics, to the level of a senator or President, is silly, and born of xenophobia and bigotry.

Neither do we have any evidence of intellect. Affirmative action explains the facts better than does intellect. Obama has a BA in Political Science from Columbia. Sorry, but that's not much of a credential. No one ever said "I got a D in Political Science. Guess I'll have to change majors to Physics". The man thinks Austrians speak Austrian. He, uh, cannot string uh, three words together without, uh, a teleprompter.

He also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law School, not to mention Columbia university is one of the top ivy league schools in the nation. I assure you they don't just let "anybody" in. And you do realize affirmative action and the degree field he decided to pursue have absolutely no relationship at all, right? Clearly the political science major reflected his political aspirations.

2. Correct. The point is, a Political Science BA is no certification of intellect.

Evidence of this? I've never seen him use a teleprompter, and the one specific instance I've head him accused of using it, it would seem he wasn't. Saying 'uh' every few words is merely poor public speaking, TONS of Americans do it. It can't always be trained away.

I don't deny for a minute that Obama is a smart guy (but very stupid when it comes to education policy). Clarence Thomas has a law degree from Yale, what does that say about an ivy league education? I also graduated from a top school (NYU) and I'm not at all the sharpest knife in the draw. Hmmm, could it be my parents had a lot of money? :rolleyes:
