Roger Penrose won for showing black holes prove a robust theory of relativity.

Andrea Gehz and Reinhard Genzel won for the discovery of a supermassive compact object at the centre of our galaxy.

I'm sort of pleased, and I think it's a fitting tribute to Penrose, but it's a shame he went off the rails a bit in later life. I just hope the other two don't go the same way.
