Merged Pat Robertson for decriminalizing marijuana / "Treat it like alcohol"

He's only human. He'll be dead soon.... but I'm sure if he had the time he could change a lot of his other views as well.

If I had to divine a reason for this pronouncement it would be that he had someone close to him used medicinal marijuana to their benefit. Similar to Nancy Reagen on stem cells, and Cheney not toeing the party line on gay rights. They had a personal horse in that race which made them a lot more rational about it.

That's 100% conjecture on my part, but it's the only thing that makes sense to me given the usually bat-crap crazy ideas the guy holds.

Maybe the world will end this year. When that Bible-thumping con man actually gets a good, rational thought in his head, something momentous has to be coming down.
