I agree that the prediction of the winner was silly, because of the 50% chance of it happening anyway, but they also predicted that there would be ballot recall or recount, like in 2000, because of Mercury retrograde during the election. If that comes true, it would boost astrology's credibility, IMO.

With 50 states and a close election predicted, there's more than a 50% chance of some kind of "voting irregularities" (very loose term) happening too. It also happened in 2004. There were also (surprise!) "irregularities" in 2008. Besides, they only predicted that it "could" happen, not that it "would" happen.

With 50 states and 254 counties in Texas alone, I would be more surprised if there isn't a ballot recall or recount somewhere in the US. They will have to be more clear what is meant by "like in 2000" in order for it to boost astrology's credibility over, say, Paul the Octopus'.
