I'll have my car and room for two (maybe three) on Wednesday.

The Rio is a bit of a hike from the Riv. I'd recommend against it. It may only look like 3 blocks, but those are 3 Vegas blocks. I walked once from the Rio to the Bellagio. That took the better part of 20 minutes and it was not the most pleasant experience of my life. (It was summer, which didn't help.)

Taxis in Vegas - the only way to fly.

Vegas blocks are definitely an order of magnitude larger than any other city blocks. Because of that, you really don't realize how huge the damn hotels are. I once attended a wedding at Caesar's -- got a room at a place across the street -- and I swear it took ten minutes to walk from the street to the front door.

I know how far it is. Hal and I walked from the Rio to the Stardust after seeing P&T at TAM3. From the Riviera to the Rio is about 1.6 miles plus the distance inside the hotels, or close to 2 miles. That's a 40 minute walk in a group and quite easy if wearing comfortable shoes.

I've only been to Vegas once and it was for TAM last year but I do remember walking from Stardust to the Hilton (which is right by the Riviera). It's a bit of a hike but definitely doable, unless you're planning on wearing fancy heels or anything.

There's a chance we'll have a rental car (if Mr. Ottle turns this into a business trip) and if that's the case, I'll let you guys know. We're going Wednesday.

Also, isn't there some sort of train or tram between hotels? I don't think it goes all the way to the Riviera but I remember it going all the way along the strip. Would it make the hike to P&T shorter at all?

I'm going on Saturday and I'd like to share a ride/cab with someone.
Hooray, I thought there were no other Sat takers. I'll be going and happy to share. I still don't know who the other 2 votes for Sat are or whether they bought tickets. But I have, so there's at least 2 of us. I assume there'll be more.

I am in a group of five going - my best friend and wife, and their daughter and her friend. They aren't in the forum. I imagine we will take up a cab ourselves.

Awesome. I think a couple other people from my group will be going to see P&T also.

Ok, Mr. Ottle confirmed that he will have a rental so we can take two, maybe three if ya'll are small and/or friendly, for Wednesday night's show. PM me if you still need a ride.

Is it too late to request/order a ticket for the Friday night P&T show?

OK...I admit I didn't read all of the 100+ posts before mine, but I also note that it hasn't updated recently.

I am alone (sigh...won't anyone be my friend?...) so need only the one ticket for Friday (I have tickets for Banachek and Jamy Ian Swiss for Thursday and Saturday nights)

General suggestion for the group...

I have seen all three acts (Banachek, Jamy Ian Swiss and Penn & Teller) and they are all VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. As individuals they are remarkable as well. If you have the chance, to see, by all means, do so.

Hey guys - is there anyone who would be willing to swap two tickets for Wednesday night for two for Saturday? Some work stuff just happened and it's looking like I might be flying in later than I expected on Wednesday. Still trying to work it out but thought I would ask, just in case.

Stupid work...

There is now a Sunday date posted in lieu of Sat. I don't know if that means Sat sold out or they just changed the TAM night. I double checked my ticket and it does say Sat.

Sorry, I won't be there Wed.

Welcome to the forum! I hope you learn as much as I have. You should be able to buy your ticket through the TAM registration page.
