OBL has not been dead a week. The President said the operation occurred "today". OBL has been dead only a day or so. DNA results will take a while.

I have seen no bloody proof that torture woirks, despite what morons like Rummy, the nosferatu from Wyoming and that torture monkey Allen West might tell you.

I am sure it is not always reliable but do you honestly believe that nobody has ever given up any useful information under torture?
 
NPR was just interviewing an ex-Pakistani intelligence guy. When asked if he thought that the Pakistanis were complicit, he said.. "Well, that's an interesting question..."

Considering the size, security levels, and location of the place....Gives an entirely new dimension to "hiding in plain sight".
Another interesting notion is that some elements of the Pakistani military or intelligence might have been in on the raid.... They say not but right now the Morning Edition guys are expressing incredulity that a small fleet of choppers full of special-ops troops could have flown all the way to Islamabad without so much as a heads-up to the Pakistanis....
No doubt will fuel speculation for some time.
 
I wonder why not take him alive? Wouldn't bringing him to court play out better for Obama and USA?
They just killed him and dumped immediately in the water instead - conspiracy theories commence...

Damned rarely. I know a little more first-hand about intel procedures thasn I can go into, but torturte is not the only means that the Navy or CIA had in hand after the Shrub and his slimebag crew started getting flack over it.
