Maher did O'Reilly this week. When O'Reilly and Michael Moore talked during the DNC, I said something to the extent of "they deserve each other".

That said, I Maher and O'Reilly was a sadder discourse then O'Reilly/Moore.

O'Reilly kept looking like, well, an idiot, and so did Maher. Maher would get mad or try to act nonchallant or wry when it became apparent that he was just as big an idiot as O'Reilly.

I actually had to switch channels because unlike some people, I don't stop for trainwrecks.
 
it was interesting to watch though, because oreilly was working really hard to kiss maher's ass by appearing "middle of the road".....

and you're right....it was interesting to watch maher struggle to appear nonchalant and competent without just spitting out the same talking points that could be destroyed with a bit of energy for debate

i think maher is just protecting his free pass for the playboy bunnies and oreilly is just trying to achieve some sort of hipness

Bill said something about "Lola", Mahers girlfriend on Sunset (hooker heaven) and said that she said that he (Maher) had a thing for Bush. Maher muttered something about the Whoopi Goldberg thing.
 
Yeah - Maher didn't do himself any favors. O'Reilly didn't have much to lose, but it was the first time that I really saw Maher reaching for his sneering attitude to counter a point he couldn;t refute. Pretty sad all around.

I understand that you're angry since Maher didn't make a gay porn film like you wanted. But it's OK. Maybe Maher will make a sequel to the movie which is a gay porn film. Perhaps they're already casting for it. Quick, you better apply for a starring role before it gets taken!
