I do not know anyone named Margaret who is deceased. Among the people who were close to me who have since died, none of them had emphysema.
This is a miss.
Well, I suppose that is good news for Margaret, whoever Margaret is.
My mother is deceased, but as noted above, she did not have emphysema, nor was her name Margaret or any variation of Margaret.

No. The most recent military service by any member of my family was during World War II. No members of my immediate family (brothers, sisters, parents) or extended family (cousins, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts) has ever served in the military. My grandfathers served in WWI and my father-in-law served in WWII, but no member of my family or extended family has been in the military since.

I will not worry about Chad or Chadwick, as I do not personally know anyone by the name of Chad or Chadwick, either as a first name or last name.

The only Bobby or Robert in my family, extended family, or in-laws, is an Uncle Bob who was married briefly to my father's sister. He played a very minor role in our lives, given the short lifespan of their marriage, and was in no way connected to Vietnam or the military.
I would have to call this a miss.
I have not been to any weddings recently, and I am not aware of any that are planned for the near future.

I have some questions I was hoping you could help me with. Obviously, if I understand your answers, it will go a long way towards convincing me that you really are connected to the other side.
1. My paternal grandfather died a year ago. I never got to appologize to him and I'm wondering if he forgives me.
2. My maternal grandfather died several years ago. Some of my relatives are still arguing about money. Does he have anything to say about this?
3. I never knew my maternal grandmother. Do you know if she's proud of me?
4. My remaining grandmother is 91 and in failing health. Should she be scared or do you think that she is going to heaven?
5. Will the people on this board know me well enough to realize I'm being sarcastic?

Well, my husband's name is Robert but I call him Bobby. All of my uncles were in Vietnam. My Grandma died 14 years ago from lung cancer. My Grandfather just remarried and he lives in Arizona. I love cats but have a dog. Hmmmmmm.......but having seen my mother in action I just don't believe any of it. I think it's conjecture. And maybe a need to feel close to someone. Maybe a need to make people feel better about losing people they loved. I didn't really see any negative reading results so I'd go with the reader wanting to spread kindness and goodness.

I don't want to make it sound like I am being hard on you, but do you understand what the various posters here mean when they use the terms "cold reading" and "confirmation bias"? Several people here have had lots of experience with mediums (or have been mediums), and as much as all of us would actually love to see evidence of psychic powers, it just hasn't happened.
I would recommend taking some time to read various threads on this forum, ask questions of us, and see what you think. After you have had a chance to go over things, please try again on reading a few of these people and review your revelations and their responses based on additional information. I would hate to see you simply leave the forum in frustration due to a mutual lack of understanding.

My grandfathers both had emphysema. Neither one was named Margaret. I have a whole mess of Margarets in the extended family, though. None died of emphysema.
Well, gee. My maternal grandmother (not named Margaret) died of lung cancer. But she was breathing just find up until the cancer spread to the brain. Both grandfathers had oxygen tanks but again... that sticky male business.
If it's the maternal grandmother who died of lung cancer, that would be my mother. Maternal grandfather same deal, though he's still male. Paternal grandfather had sons, no daughters.

I think one of the reasons psychicuk's readings have been somewhat less than stellar is that they're being directed at specific individuals who have already been identified. Instead, the reading should be thrown out there for anyone to grab onto, like thus: "There's someone here who's been thinking a lot about a special person lately. This person is about to make a very big, potentially life-changing decision. This person has also recently encountered a health issue with themselves or a loved one. Oh yes, and this person has a sense of humor that friends think is a little quirky and off-beat. The letters A and G are involved somehow." With a large enough crowd, one or more of those will go "ding!" inside at least one person's head. And once you have that person on the line, who's at least a little intrigued, you're on your way.

And I'm not sure it's missing exactly, because no-one can prevent themselves subjectively validating what they see and hear - it's how our brains work, after all. Sceptics are simply aware of this fact, and consequently make allowances for it. Instead of seizing on any detail that does make sense to them and ignoring the rest, they go through the reading point by point saying "miss", "miss", "miss" ...

If it is mixed "energies" what is to prevent each sentence in a given reading from belonging to a different person.
It seems I wasn't in the mix though except for the Robert part. Both my mom and dad and one of by brothers is named Robert, or Roberta in my mothers case. Somehow I feel that that name is close to you to.

Here's the tricky thing about what you posted above: given that this forum has over 12,000 members, the chances are overwhelmingly good that just about any reasonable thing you could say, be it a genuine psychic reading or just a series of random guesses, would be at least a fairly close match for someone. So, suppose you do a reading for someone here who asks for one, and they say it's way off, but then someone else reads it and says, "Hey, thats kind of accurate for me." One possible explanation would be that your impressions were correct, but assigned to the wrong person. Another would be that your impressions were simply flat-out wrong, and the reason they fit someone is because any reasonable impressions are bound to fit someone. So here's the million dollar question: how would you determine which was the case?
