Ongoing Adventures of Kyle Rittenhouse

Oh, we know that as a conservative, you think Kyle has the right to defend himself with deadly force during conflicts he sought out and initiated with a weapon he illegally obtained.
He did not initiate the conflict. Rosenbaum did. There's really no ambiguity about that.

However do you get that from what I wrote? Is this more of that feigned obtuseness, or a genuine reading comprehension problem you have?
Violating curfew is the only law he was breaking immediately before the conflict started (something that everyone there was doing). That's how I get that from what you wrote.

Yes, there certainly is. You see, had Kyle not tried to use his illegally purchased firearm to feel like a big man, that conflict would not have occurred. Had Kyle not illegally purchased the weapon, that conflict would not have occurred. Had Kyle not sought out that conflict, it would not have occurred.

But the gun wasn't bought that night. You want to place a lot of importance on the purchase, but the purchase is far removed.
Good to know. Next time I get caught with something I illegally acquired, ill run that by the cop to get off.

"Aw, come on, officer, I bought that weeks ago. Statuary of Limbotations or somethin, right?"

Well yeah there is, cause we don't know what prompted him to chase Kyle. Kyle's lawyer wanted to argue that since Rosenbaum was a felon, he wanted to kill Kyle so bad he was trying to get a gun he himself could not legally possess--as if that legality mattered to the evil pedophile you believe Rosenbaum was. The argument was so stupid and convoluted it never got raised. Why was Kyle the chosen one when--as you claim--there were so many other armed people there that night? You might want to revisit some of the evidence, like the evidence that Kyle was pointing his gun at unarmed people before the confrontation began. And the fact that Kyle turned around during the chase to confront Rosenbaum. Or maybe get a glimpse of where his head was at from the later video with Grosskreutz, who literally had his hands up in the air before he was shot.

We know he didn't have a legitimate reason to chase Kyle. Accounts of Rosenbaum's behavior that night make it pretty clear he was the one looking for a fight, not Kyle.

Because he ended up isolated.

Dude. Grosskreutz admitted on the stand that he was pointing his gun at Kyle when Kyle shot.

If you give a mouse a cookie...

If you give a mouse a cookie, he won't shoot you like that half-wit Rittenhouse did but keep using that stupid analogy or metaphor or whatever the hell it is.

It makes me laugh and gives you no credibility whatsoever but thank you anyway.

I'm ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ crying

Personally, I'm laughing so hard at that phrase, "give a mouse a cookie," that I'm crying too.

Actually, I think a better phrase would be, "give a mouse some cheese," but I admit cookies sounds funnier, or maybe "give a mouse a condom," might even be funnier.

You decide.

Anyway, thank you to Zig for all the laughs.

Wasn't aware of this saying. Seems appropriate here.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

Yup, give a mouse a cookie (cheese, condom etc.), and they'll shoot you (or not shoot you) just like Rittenhouse did, depending how much (or how many) you give them

How ridiculous is that, but thanks for adding to the laugh track T... bwahahahahaha

This sounds like "but officer, everyone else was speeding, too, so why did you cite me with speeding? Just because I had an accident you can't single me out like that."

And further, is it your contention that stealing a fast car because you can drive fast in it should absolutely not be brought up when you get caught speeding in it 3 months later and one town over? "But officer, my illegal acquisition of this car was months ago, so no take backsies and you can't charge me!"

Dude. Grosskreutz admitted on the stand that he was pointing his gun at Kyle when Kyle shot.
This is dishonest. He had his gun out, because there was an active shooter on the street. He put his hands up when approaching Kyle in the universal 'friendly' sign. When Grosskreutz lowered both his hands, for a fraction of a second as the arc swung down, the gun pointed towards Kyle. That is not 'admitting that he was pointing his gun at Kyle'.

I'm sensing a pattern here...

Others have pointed out that the 'pointed' gun was just him lowering his arm before he was shot. It can of course, depend on your confirmation bias on how you perceive it. But given Grosskreutz's story--that he was trying to dissarm an active shooter, it is consistent with all his behavior. He was not involved in the initial confrontation with Rosenbaum.
Simple question for you: Assume Grosskreutz had managed to get a shot off before Kyle blew his bicep off--and killed Kyle. Do you believe that would have been legal self defense under the laws of Wisconsin?
