Close galactic encounter leaves 'nearly naked' supermassive black hole

http://m.phys.org/news/2016-11-galactic-encounter-naked-supermassive-black.html

""We were looking for orbiting pairs of supermassive black holes, with one offset from the center of a galaxy, as telltale evidence of a previous galaxy merger," said James Condon, of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. "Instead, we found this black hole fleeing from the larger galaxy and leaving a trail of debris behind it," he added.

"We've not seen anything like this before," Condon said."
Followed by the ignorant quoting of a deluded person by a Finnish physics crackpot with no known mathematical ability, little knowledge of physics shown, lots of hand waving and some primitive videos.

Tuxford is some insane crank who believes in "Huge Bang Fantasy" and "merger maniacs" and Pixie of key cannot understand that Tuxford is an insane crank just from those phrases :jaw-dropp!

Density of matter external to that space which is expanding or internal to that expanding space? The results would not be the same.

Second, isn't space only known by the presence and distribution of matter? Without matter, there would be no space, correct?

Not correct. exists even without matter. Cosmologists look at models of universes with no matter. The vacuum solutions to GR are among the first taught to students.

Can space exist by itself without matter or energy around?

No. Experiments continue to show that there is no 'space' that stands apart from space-time itself...no arena in which matter, energy and gravity operate which is not affected by matter, energy and gravity. General relativity tells us that what we call space is just another feature of the gravitational field of the universe, so space and space-time can and do not exist apart from the matter and energy that creates the gravitational field. This is not speculation, but sound observation.

I haven't posted enough to post URLs

Yes it can.

Vacuum solution (general relativity)
In general relativity, a vacuum solution is a Lorentzian manifold whose Einstein tensor vanishes identically. According to the Einstein field equation, this means that the stress–energy tensor also vanishes identically, so that no matter or non-gravitational fields are present.

General relativity tells us that space is just part of spacetime. GR tells us that if we have no matter then we still have spacetime and space (see above).

We cannot do experiments in a universe containing matter to see if a universe with no matter has no space.

If you have a credible source listing the experiments and/or observations that show that that space in GR does not exist when there is no matter, you can post it as text rather than a URL, e.g. "this . is . a . url . com".

A pulsar and white dwarf dance together in a surprising orbit

Researcher presents work to understand formation of the universe

http://m.phys.org/news/2016-11-formation-universe.html

"A Manchester-based astrophysicist has Presented research at a major international conference Which is expected to Provide scientists with valuable insights into the behavior of gravity in the early stages of the universe, Allowing them to better understand the forces That created it."

First of all, there is only one force and no one has ever created, or even that is not born hocus pocus.

Movement / Energy / pushing force which now exists, has always existed in one form or another.

So you can forget about created forces.

On the brink of a scientific revolution

"Gravity is in dire need of new approaches like the one by Verlinde, since it doesn't combine well with quantum physics. Both theories, crown jewels of 20th century physics, cannot be true at the same time. The problems arise in extreme conditions: near black holes, or during the Big Bang. Verlinde says, "Many theoretical physicists like me are working on a revision of the theory, and some major advancements have been made. We might be standing on the brink of a new scientific revolution that will radically change our views on the very nature of space, time and gravity.""

The picture of the universe will remain the same - gravity pulls, curved spacetime exists because GR works, the evidence for a Big Bang is overwhelming, etc.

What has been known for over 30 years is that it is possible that we can explain dark matter by modifying Newtonian mechanics or GR. This is yet another attempt to do a similar thing. Here gravity (and curved spacetime) emerges from an underlying structure: Entropic gravity

Actually, the first requirement is a serious study of physics and mathematics followed by an exploration of scientifically based cosmology. This generally requires many years of dedication and hard work. How much have you done?

A pulsar and white dwarf dance together in a surprising orbit
Last, they considered the possibility that some of the material released from the white dwarf in the past (due to this same stellar wind) could have formed a short-lived circumbinary disk. This disk would then act like a third body, disturbing the system and increasing the eccentricity of the white dwarf's orbit. In the end, they deemed that the first two scenarios were unlikely, since the mass inferred for the pulsar progenitor was not consistent with either model.

However, the third scenario, in which interaction with a circumbinary disk was responsible for the eccentricity, was consistent with their inferred parameters. What's more, the third scenario predicts how (within a certain mass range) that there should be no circular binaries with similar orbital periods – which is consistent with all known examples of such systems.
This is gravity pulling as we have observed gravity pulling for 400 years.

"Searching the universe for strange new star systems can lead to some pretty interesting finds. And sometimes, it can turn up phenomena that contradict everything we think we know about the formation and evolution of stars. Such finds are not only fascinating and exciting, they allow us the chance to expand and refine our models of how the universe came to be."

"Given the mass of this star, this would take about 100 billion years to happen on its own – i.e. longer than the age of the universe.

And no self-respecting Merger Maniac dare suggest that the age of the universe might be longer than that allowed by the Huge Bang Fantasy. Long live the fantasy!"

"In 2009, applied physicist Peter Sturrock was visiting the National Solar Observatory in Tucson, Arizona, when the deputy director of the observatory told him they shouldnt read a Controversial article about radioactive decay. Although the subject was outside Sturrock's field, it inspired a thought That intriguing so the next day they phoned the author of the study, Purdue University physicist Ephraim Fischbach, to suggest a collaboration.

Fischbach replied, "We were about to phone you."

More than seven years later, That collaboration could result in an inexpensive tabletop device to detect the elusive neutrinos more efficiently and inexpensively than is currently possible, and could simplify scientists' Ability to study the inner workings of the sun. The work was published in the Nov. 7 issue of the Solar Physics.

"If we're correct, it means That neutrinos are far Easier to detect than people have thought," said Sturrock, professor emeritus of applied physics. "Everyone thought That it would be Necessary to have huge experiments, with thousands of tons of water or other material, That May Involve huge consortia and huge expense, and you might get a few thousand counts a year. But we apr get similar or even better data from an experiment Involving only Micrograms of radioactive material. ""

http://m.phys.org/news/2016-11-solar-physicists-easier-peculiar-particles.html#jCp

Right, so then!

Expanding the neutrino has an internal structure and, therefore, the internal motion / energy / time / pressure.

and what is the internal pressure can be get in? After all, it is precisely a condensation may expand to expand out onto the existing space.

Expanding neutrinos is possible to get us energy. But should be suitable for the "bait" that is placed to protrude toward the Sun so that they are pushed to expand the neutrinos inside and so they could get to expand faster than normal, etc.

hmm, might be worthwhile to take them to the energy at night, or in such a way that they would continue after away from the center of the Earth, rather than toward the center.
