Maybe he confused North Korea with China?
Or he was just joking. I admit I do not have the Cain sense of humor.

I think that politicians get off too easy when they stray into stark naked alternate reality. I wish someone would question Cain like so:
Q: Mr. Cain, since your interview with Piers Morgan, you've clarified that you are 100% pro-life even in the case of rape and incest, correct?
A: Yes. [one can dream]
Q: And you even said you were 100% pro-life in that interview? [play clip]
A: Why yes!
Q: Will you acknowledge that what you said in this part of the interview [play clip*] is the very essence of the pro-choice position? And do you understand how a voter might have been confused hearing these contradictory statements?
A: [whatever Cain linguistic stylings]
Q: You do realize how important it is for a candidate, not to mention the President of the United States, to be able to express him or herself with clarity?
* It's not the government's role, or anybody else's role, to make that decision. So what I'm saying is, it ultimately gets down to a choice that that family, or that mother has to make. Not the president, not some politician, not a bureaucrat. It gets down to that family. And whatever they decide, they decide. I shouldn't try to tell them what decision to make.
Not so! The first two questions are softballs for Herman, and after that it doesn't actually matter what gibberish he spews. You are a dreamer.
Or he was just joking. I admit I do not have the Cain sense of humor.
And something the black community has no need of is prenatal care either. Only a racist would want them to have healthy pregnancies.
*facepalm*
This moron is the leading contender for the Republican party now?
Some days I think that as a species we're doomed![]()

another Cain fail.

So, Cain has come out and accused Rick Perry of orchestrating a smear campaign. This kind of puts people like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter in an awkward position, because they've already gone into high dudgeon over "left wing racists" being behind this. For that matter, Cain's own PAC sent out a fundraising letter accusing the "left-wing media" of a "high-tech lynching."
So, is Rick Perry part of "the left" now? Rick Perry's campaign for its part has suggested that the Romney campaign was behind the leak, although they gave no evidence.
Cain has really come through as far as providing us with entertainment. Perhaps even as much as Donald Trump.![]()
But he's not the only one.You are a dreamer.
A Herman Cain aide said Thursday that the Cain campaign is considering its legal options over the original Politico story, which revealed that the former head of the National Restaurant Association was accused of sexually harassing at least two women during his tenure in the 1990s.
It's entirely possible that Cain's comments were not intended to be factual statements.
Yes indeed it is. And when politicians stray into bare naked alternate reality, they should be forced to say it. Either by a persistent questioner, or with electrodes.Still the best disclaimer ever!
Pamela Geller's on board, pulling the Cain Train
...
You are a dreamer.
Now the Cain campaign is making threatening noises about taking legal action against Politico.
Cain camp considering legal action against Politico
I will resist making an off color remark on what "Pulling a train" also means...
Oh to hell with it. No I won't.

Presidential candidates are public figures, and Politico only reported what was a fact: that these allegations existed and there was a settlement. So, there's really no legal action to be taken that wouldn't be laughed out of court.
