On Consciousness

Is consciousness physical or metaphysical?

The wrath of Pixy may fall on me, but I believe that part of the message in Zeuzzz's dmt experiments, is that all perception is regulated by chemicals, and it is all somewhat hallucinogenic in nature.

Certainly, a housefly, living in the suburbs of N.J., has a radically different perception of reality than his housemates; Judy and Paul Walinsky, of 17 Maple Avenue.

So what you are saying is that you took hallucinogenic drugs and hallucinated?

No. I am saying that I raised the level of a natural neurochemical found in the blood of all mammalian life, thus boosting the perceptual effects it has on us every day by some 50x. Different chemicals can effect the way these neurotransmitters function.

I'm sorry, but that's precisely what it was. You described it quite vividly.

I'm going to show you an elf legion from hyperspace as proof.

What part of you perceptual reality do you put down to the endogenous DMT in your brain pixy?

If I master how to speak to them coherently in their complex language then I may be able to convince an elf to come back me with me next time. If so I'll set him up an account here to explain everything for you. Or video him as proof.

Good luck with that

The brain is very sensitive to levels of neurotransmitters. If you mess with the normal levels, you will get abnormal functioning. It's not difficult to understand.

What you don't get is real elves from hyperspace, or whatever nonsense you hallucinated. They may seem real to you, but a trivial application of critical thinking and common-sense should disabuse you of that.

For now, even if we discover what is physically necessary for consciousness, that would be amazing. Not "what is consciousness" but what is "physically necessary" to be conscious.

Yes! All of Zzeuzzz's internal visions are stuff and nonsense to which only a fool would relate to reality -- which has no bearing on his dysfunctional cognition, drug induced or otherwise.

Definitions

"Karma" literally means "deed" or "act", and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, which Hindus believe governs all consciousness.[9] Karma is not fate, for we act with what can be described as a conditioned free will creating our own destinies. According to the Vedas, if we sow goodness, we will reap goodness; if we sow evil, we will reap evil.

Simply, acts done with conscious mind are Karma and attract cause and effect.
