Viewers were misled by the use of CGI fireworks during a sweeping helicopter shot leading up to Bird's Nest National Stadium. Organizers note the fireworks were there, but the footage was created in advance due to the danger of shooting live from a nearby helicopter.

Actually, the entire Olympic Games have been created by advance cgi programs. The athletes simply had their bodies scanned, and the computers then use that to create life-like models. All results of the competitions have been pre-determined. The athletes are, in fact, just sitting around drinking and talking with each other at the Olympic Village.
 
What I find strange is that I had assumed that was a pre-generated sequence, I would have been surprised to learn it was live!
 
The other CT I read was that the torch was never taken to the top of Mt Everest. Or at least that the footage released was filmed much lower down last year as a 'backup'.

It is fact that the opening ceremonies incorporated Live T.V. fakery.

So there were measures taken to address safety concerns regarding helicopters and explosive fireworks... what's the problem exactly?

I thought the scene looked CGI when I watched it, and don't feel the remotest concern about the matter.
 
I heard from someone on the internet that the whole olympics was filmed last year on a sound stage in the desert. The same one used for the moon landing, it is all a big propaganda film paid for by the Rothschilds.

Spoiler alert (from the same source): Phelps wins 8 gold medals, then in a suprise move defects to China.

Fake Olympics have been on TV for decades. The '70's East German chicks used to take so many male hormones and steroids and whatnot that one of 'em is currently complaining that she had to have a sex change.
