The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, the registered charity that is building the first new main line steam locomotive in Britain for almost 50 years, today announced that 60163 Tornado has made her first public move in steam in Darlington.

This steam locomotive will be hauling trains on the main line in the UK later this year.

It is the result of a project that has taken 18years, and £3million

It should be an impressive sight.

No, I don't think your missing anything. I wasn't sure where to put this, and decided that the technology forum was best.

My understanding is that ancilliary items are using up to date technology (e.g. LED lights rather than bulbs) but basically it is old technology.
