OK Max or anyone else. Can you guess this book?

It's a novel. I've been to amazon and printed out the front cover. I intend to particularly try to visualise the book and its title from 4pm-5pm GMT tomorrow (Wed 10th March). If people could guess after that time that'll be great. I'll alert people as to when I start thinking about it, and when I stop at 5pm. I'll basically have the title in the back of my mind all the time though, so if you get any inklings outside that hour that'll be fine.

So if people could give a stab at guessing its title, or even what the story is about, or indeed the color of the front cover and what's depicted on it, then that would be great.

I would especially welcome non-skeptics to give it a shot, such as Max and Clancie (but please don't bother if you don't want to!). But also skeptics are also very welcome to try and psychically obtain information about the book. People are also welcome to just give an arbitrary guess, but if you could say you are that would be appreciated :)

I have pm'd Garrette the title.

Edited to add:

BTW, my feelings is that everyone will be way out, even Max. But it's just a bit of fun :)

I can't spell this, but...

So everyone knows, Ian has pm'd me the info on what book he is using.

I hope people participate.

Ian,

In your pm and in my thread on book test, you indicated that the reason you are doing this is that you are dissatisfied with my protocols (a defensible position, to be sure).

Yet I see no protocols here. Is it that you think there should be better protocols than mine, or that you think there should be none at all?

I don't know. That's not much to go on. To put us on an even footing with stage mediums who have the name and address of their audience members, perhaps you could supply us with the ISBN? ;)

Ian
I will be out all day today right up until midnight, So I won't participate.

You are such a spoiled brat!!! You started another thread. Take a recipe:

Excellent original recipe for tartar sauce:

1/2 cup mayo
10-12 dill pickle chips (chopped very fine)
1/2 ounce of red wine vinegar
1/2 ounce worchester
1 teaspoon salt/pepper
2 tblspn plain yogurt

wisk and chill, makes enough for two servings

My impressions:

Black (presumably colour of book or predominant colour) , crime, detective, family, three words in the title (or three significant words), sounds silly with the previous Max guess but I do get something like the “god Father” again – but it isn’t but has some link.

I won't bother saying the name of the book today Max. Just see if any feelings about what book it might be enters your head today. If so just put down after midnight or tomorrow morning your impressions. If no feelings about what the book might be enters your head, then don't bother.

If Max doesn't receive an impression of the book when you're not transmitting your thoughts... will that count as a hit?
