Well we might as well begin a thread on the Oil for FRAUD scandal. I did a few threads about it six months ago but the first report has finally been released.

Annan Vows Action Against UN Staff in Iraq Program

The UN was against the war in Iraq because top officials at the UN had an financial stake in Iraq. I have no problem saying that because not only was the head of the Oil for FRAUD program in on the fraud, the son of the leader of the UN was in on the fraud. Additionally former Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali was in on the fraud and Joseph Stephanides was in on the fraud.

And if you are going to convince me that a) Kofi Annan doesn't know what his son does for a living and b) doesn't know what his subordinates like Benon Sevan are doing then I say he is incapable of running an organization like the United Nations. Plain and simple.

And the US has lost 9 billion in the Iraq reconstruction. Let me know when Dubya does anything about that.
The topic of this thread is the OIL for Food program. Have you ever been tested for ADD?

Yes, i have excellent advanced dick distension. How about you?
You have left the realm of derailment and have entered the realm of trolling. Have a nice day.

See my earlier posts on this, it`s small beer.
I say small beer, I bet you don`t drink a good strength one ZN...lite eh?
Thought so.

I`m a Guninness man myself (you know, IRA and all that stuff), I don`t a mind Becks now and again, that`s Dark Becks that it. (Dark rum too)

What do you drink?

Yep, 9 Billion...oops, that a different faud, thought you were talking oil for food then....silly me

Your posts Demon & a_u_p are proof of reincarnation; no one could get that dumb in just one lifetime.

ZN:
"Your posts Demon & a_u_p are proof of reincarnation"

Go for the million...if you are honest enough split the prize yes?

Couple of pints of Guinness for me will do, I think AUP and The Fool have more exotic tastes.

Define "That". At least Kofi has invited someone in to do an open investigation of the UN's issues. I'll still be holding my gun in my cold, dead hands before someone from the Bush admin looks for the missing 9bill. And the intelligence agencies are to blame for the missing WMD. Goddam intelligence agencies.

Oil for food is a diversion dreamed up after no Oil for WMD.

Works out like somthing like 8p a day deprived of the Iraqi people....oh, don`t forget Saddam built palaces with gold taps OMG! Isn`t he so EVVILLL, almost like the JJEWWWSS

In the meantime, 9 Billion Dollars goes missing from the coffers of the US to rebuild Iraq after reducing it to dust and what the hell...het bet Arafat `s wife has it.
I ask you...seriously!

Generally when a posters a) lack the intelligence to discuss complex issues, b) are complete trolls, do they launch into derailments and a bunch of non sequitors.

Please feel free to pollute this thread with your brillance as much as you like Demon and a_u_p. I will sacrifice this thread in order to solitify your standing as the official JREF trollsâ„¢ .

hehehe...get over yourself ZN

As soon as I have finished, or maybe I should say "sacrificed" l "my pet goat" I`ll be back...be afraid, be very afraid

Of course oil for food was a disgrace. The remarkable thing is that somehow there does not seem to be much outrage directed at this institution that supposedly we should look to to solve various disputes. Far from providing any useful service with regard to conflict resolution we find that the organization is Enron-like.

Rubbish. The UN, for all it's faults, has achieved a lot. It has problems, but it still provides enough benefits to justify it's existence.

I agree Kofi Annan's denials are no different than Ken Lay's denials. If the same agency that was supposed to protect Iraqi civilians is really ripping them off for financial gain then what trust can we place in that same agancy to protect the rights of other people around the world....cough...bosnia...cough...Rwanda...cough

Sorry, the chance for you to participate in this discussion has passed. Have a nice day troller.

Funny that no one has brought this up yet.

The US basically allowed Iraq to smuggle Oil for several billion dollars worth.

Hypocrisy, anyone?
While that is a legitimate issue, the difference is people in the American administration were not profitting financially from illegal oil sales while they ran the oil-for-food program. Now that is really bottom of the barrel ethics.

OK, start in Africa and tell us all how, when they are not raping, they have reduced deaths. Then, tell us how they leapt into action in Kosevo. Finish up in the Mid-east.

Although, Britain and France have been at peace for a good long while.
