Last night I stumbled across an article that tried to lay out the known facts about both of the o'bummers having "surrendered" their law licenses. The person who wrote the article, Gary North on lewrockwell.com, made a very emphatic point: no one with a law license, who has gone through the trouble of the bar exam, and all the other stuff necessary to legally practice law, no one just "gives this up" unless there is trouble.

North believes, and laid out a good case for mr. o'bummer giving up his license because he lied when asked "have you ever used another name" and lied to the bar. This was no problem, North pointed out, when o'bummer told the folks in academia that he'd used another name. After all, it is highly likely - I think "probable" is the word North used - that o'bummer got the cushy ride he did through VERY expensive schools through exploiting the foreign student apparatus. The schools don't care about that, but the Bar sure does. North believes that this is the key reason for o'bummer paying law firms so much money to keep his records secret.

How do you know the Obama's paid for their college themselves?????????????
Since we don't know how he got into college with his admitted lack of study and who paid for it, or whether he got in with foreign tuition assistance. Where do you pull this stuff up from?

I got a pair of dress shoes (which I almost never wear except for funerals or weddings) and they are a half size too large. I got them when I couldn't afford dress shoes and I still have them and get this, I still wear them to weddings and funerals.

Granted, I really hate dress shoes, but finding shoes in your size when you shop at discount shoe places is sometimes hard, so you go with something close.

Now, just because I experienced this first hand in no way refutes Carlito's "gut", but YMMV.

Yeah, I don't know what all the consternation is about on this topic. I'm on the opposite end of the size problem. Depending on who makes them, I'm either a 7 1/2 or 8, but truly a 7 1/2. When I was trying to dress sharp, I'd stop off at Florsheim when they had their odd-sizes sales. You'd find $150 pairs of shoes for $50 or $60, but they'd have, between 7 and 13, maybe about six sizes out of 13 available. If a particularly sharp looking pair of shoes was a half-size too small or large, I'd get them anyway and rely on them loosening up or plan to wear thicker socks with them, respectively.

Or maybe Michelle didn't mean a thing about his tough beginnings, and just remembered that he was a bit of a yutz who inexplicably wore shoes a half size too small because he was that kind of a nerd.

Now, if she'd said he used to show up for dates in his tribal garb from Kenya, and make stops at appropriate times to pray to Allah, I could see getting the interest up.....
