I’ve noticed for a while now that some of the truthers seem to favor armed revolution against the evil government/NWO/ Illuminati /Whatever the hell… Where I get confused is on two points.
1.)They depict this group as ruthless and having incredible technology. Now if this were true, what would stop this evil group from unleashing its super weapons if its power were threatened? What are several hundred thousand people going to do, much less several thousand? (Am I being generous here/)
2.)Many of the people who speak of this revolution have shown nothing in their rants about any military training. In fact some of them tend to give me the impression that they have never even fired a gun.

Why? Why do these people think they are Neo or V or Master Chief? Seriously I’m waiting for one of these people to claim they were (or believe that they were) part of some kind of “super soldier experiment” and they will lead the revolution.

Why? Because they’ve seen to many movies, watched too many TV shows, read too many thriller novels, played too many games. They believe that this evil group is like a Bond villain or something from Batman. They leave clues that only the hero/s can follow, or they tell their plan outright while condemning the hero/s to death by some convoluted easily escapable means.

They believe that just because they actually have a gun in the house and/or have fired one a few times that they can take on everybody from SWAT to Delta Force. I find it 5 laughing dog funny, but I can’t help but worry that one night after a truther get together so truther is going to be driving home with a tail light out, get pulled over, they’re paranoia will kick in and somebody’s gonna get dead.

Then, rather than mourn for their dead friend, some wingnut in the group will start screaming about how this proves the nWo is beginning their evil plan to exterminate those who know teh tr00th, which of course is just the beginning of their plan to exterminate 80% of the human race. Alex Jones will pick up on it and call on his sheeple to "act", and the one incident will repeat itself ten times over, and so on down the slippery slope.

Natural selection just got a boost, could be a start of a group achievement Darwin award.

However it is very scary how paranoid a lot of the woos are, a lot are just peace love and natuarl resonance man, however the paranoid wack jobs worry the fudge straight out of me, and guns aren't really that common over here, but I already know one person that runs and hides (or speeds and drives like a maniac) if he sees a helicopter around him (including the Air Ambulance),

It doesn't require a gun to turn the a twoof believer into a danger, hell look what 19 moslem woos did.

Doubtful. If there was going to be any violence of significance in the CT movement we would already have seen it. They have links to a few potentialy violent groups but your average Cter has no interest in going out there and getting gunned down by the police. Most are also capable of a pretty solid lvel of doublethink with the belife set for their CTs and the belife set that gets them through the day.

I would suggest such specualtion is about on the same level as the suggestions that the rapture ready mob might mass suicide.

In order to turn violent they would need:

An area of geographical concentration twoother town if you will. One thing spend time in a cyberspace twoother town quite another to live in a meatspace one.
An event to get the idea that violence is an option going and that doesn't mean some guy getting shot by a cop. It would mean some high profile sucessful action.
A group of very smart very quiet very decicated people too handel planning and loigistics.

At the moment the Cters don't even have foot soldiers. At best they have people who might support foot soldiers.
