It's at the point now that people are 'occupying' a place just for the sake of being in with the cool kids. I wanted to support them, firmly being at the bottom of the "99%" -but it's a pretty stupid movement if you don't have a coherent message.

The great irony is that the Occutards don't represent the 99%. They represent the 1%, but the 1% that is the opposite of the 1% they seem*** to be protesting against.



***I use the term "seem", because from all the coverage I've seen, and personal interaction with them, I'm not quite sure what it is they are protesting against. Other than "daddy", by proxy.

The 'tards in St. Louis were so excited as they watched their numbers grow. Until someone pointed out that most of their new supporters were just bums who were there for the free food.

What's happening is the Occupy groups (they're not a movement) have been seen for what they are, irrelevant.
 
It's a warm and pretty, though slightly overcast, day here in Nashville as we celebrate the charges against ALL protesters being dropped and march on the CCA!

Great, now that they aren't going to jail, what changes will they be advocating for in the financial system.
 
Edited: A direct action, with protesters outside of Guildhall, where the PM and huge bankers are meeting and having dinner (or whatever it's called there lol). Not an eviction. Will be "moved along" at 5pm central)

It's also interesting to watch them talk about their laws there. Apparently, their film crews have been kettled, which is not legal there. I wonder if they have something similar to the NGL there, and if they are getting representation from them. Learning.

Little was left of the Occupy St. Louis encampment this morning. The wind had wrapped a collapsed tent around a tree in the plaza. A sign taped to a garbage can advocated for free speech. And five or six individuals — some recognizable as Occupiers — sat in a few park benches facing Market Street.
